Sigma Smart+Shield Emergency Exit Alarm
The Smart+Shield from Sigma Fire & Security is a cost-effective deterrent for the misuse of emergency exits, combining a universally recognised "stop sign" design with an alarm of up to 95dB. It is supplied in four separate kits to suit any installation, can be configured for either battery or mains power usage, and can be connected to remote systems such as your Fire Alarm System. The Smart+Shield can be installed as an immediate alarm, a delayed alarm to prevent people leaving emergency exits open, or with a temporary that does not require resetting if used on panic bars or touch bars.

Smart+Shield for All Doors - ECSG960
The base model of the Smart+Shield is designed to be usable on all doors. It can be installed in the door frame - flush with the door leaf - or on the door leaf itself, as well as externally from the door via optional Cable Reed Contacts. When the monitored door is opened the alarm will sound, until it is reset either by the integrated key switch or by the configured auto-silence timer.

Smart+Shield for Vertical Panic Bolts - ECSG961
Designed for installation on a vertical panic bolt, such as the Exidor 294 or Briton 372, this model is connected directly to the door's locking mechanism and as such will be an extremely effective visual deterrent. The Smart+Shield for Vertical Panic Bolts will alarm when the locking mechanism is disengaged, rather than when the door is actually opened, until reset.

Smart+Shield for Panic Bars - ECSG950
With the included Trigger Angle designed for Panic Bars, such as the Exidor 296 or Briton 378, not only will this model sound when the door's locking mechanism is disengaged, it also features a pre-alarm unlike the previous two models. When correctly installed, the Trigger Angle will detect slight movement in the Panic Bar and sound a temporary alarm which automatically resets when the Panic Bar is released without opening the door. If the Panic Bar is fully depressed and the lock disengaged, the full alarm will sound until reset.

Smart+Shield for Touch Bars - ECSG955
Similar to the Smart+Shield for Panic Bars, this model features a Trigger Angle specifically designed for use with Touch Bar locking mechanisms, such as the Exidor 400. When slight pressure is put on the Touch Bar, a self-resetting pre-alarm will sound to deter improper use of the emergency exit, which will change to a full alarm if the Touch Bar is fully depressed. As with all models, the full alarm can be reset via the integrated key switch or by a configurable 30 or 180 second auto-silence feature.
