Freedor SmartSound Wireless Hold Open Free-Swing Door Closer

The Freedor SmartSound is a completely wireless and battery operated free-swing fire door closer. The door is allowed to swing freely and into any position in normal operation but will close when the fire alarm sounds. Both the free swing motion and the ability for the door to remain open improves access for disabled users whilst no additional wall or floor fittings need to be installed like with other units on the market. The door closer function is triggered by the sound level being above 65dBA for over 14 seconds. This new model features SmartSound technology which filters out common background noises and reducing false activations while still ensuring the door closes in the event of an alarm.

Works well on our door.
4x installed in the block. One,in blind lady's flat, installed last, too rapidly, has caused problems: activated when 'phone rings.
