Rebated Intumescent Strips Kit - 20x4mm - Fire and Smoke - Astroflame

With an integrated brush, these intumescent seals are suitable for both FD60 and FD60S fire doors with 20mm rebated channels in the door leaf or frame. They provide extra protection for escape routes by preventing occupants from exposure to harmful and potentially toxic smoke and fumes until the flames reach the fire door, when the temperature will cause the seals to expand and fill all the gaps.

• Suitable for 20mm rebates in the door leaf or frame
• Must only be fitted by a fire door professional and to doors with certification that allows retroactive rebating
• Integrated brush blocks smoke before heat causes the seal to expand
• White or brown available to suit most doors
• Fire rated for FD60 doorsets to provide 60 minutes protection
• Self-adhesive backing for easy fitting
• Available in single or double door kits:
  • Single door – 5 strips of 1.05m x 20mm x 4mm
  • Double door – 8 strips of 1.05m x 20mm x 4mm
• Intumescent material reacts to high temperatures to swell and block the spread of fire
• Self-adhesive backing for quick and easy installation
• Certifire approved to BS 476 Part 22 and Part 31.1
