FAS Fire Door Intumescent Acrylic Sealant
Fire & Acoustic Seals intumescent acrylic is designed to seal gaps around fire rated doors, joints in walls, and in service pipe penetrations. The acrylic prevents the passage of fire and smoke through these gaps ensuring that the integrity of walls and doors are maintained during a fire for up to 120 minutes.
- Suitable for:
- Installation of timber fire doorsets
- Sealing joints in fire rated walls, service penetrations, windows, and cladding
- Fire rated for up to 120 minutes
- Available in 2 sizes:
- 310ml tube – cartridge applicator gun required
- 600ml foil pack – foil applicator gun required
- Approved by Certifire
- Tested and compliant to:
- BS EN 1366-3: 2004 and BS EN 1366-4: 2006
- BS 476: Part 20/22: 1987
- BS EN 1634-1 2014 + A1: 2018
