The Ei3016 is a direct, simple replacement for the discontinued Ei161 series, designed to fit straight onto your existing Ei160 base without any rewiring. Installation is quick and typically doesn’t require an electrician and can be simply achieved by isolating the power, removing the old alarm, and clicking the new unit into place. With a built in long-life backup battery and improved optical sensor, it’s an easy upgrade that provides reliable protection with minimal effort.
