Easichange Replacement for DETA 1115 Mains Powered Heat Alarm

The DETA 1115, which has been discontinued by the manufacturer, is a mains powered heat alarm with 9V alkaline battery back-up. To ensure that DETA 1100 series alarm owners can continue to update their systems, easichange® have developed a range of replacements to be fully backward-compatible with your outgoing DETA alarms and their mounting plates. The SBBRKHE is the ideal replacement for the 1115 alarm as it has been designed and tested to fit onto your existing alarm bases so you don't even need an electrician.

The SBBRKHE is a mains powered heat alarm with a replaceable 9V alkaline backup battery like the DETA 1115 that it replaces. Heat alarms detect the temperature of the room they're in and activate when it gets abnormally hot, typically from 55°C. They are designed for rooms like kitchens and garages where steam, fumes, and dust are expected to cause false activations in smoke alarms. A central test/hush button makes maintenance of your alarm quick and simple. Featuring a hardwire interlink allowing compatible easichange® alarms to communicate with each other over the same wiring as your old DETA alarms, so that all will sound the alarm if one detects a fire.

The simple installation process of the easichange® replacement kits negates the need for an electrician, though you must ensure that mains power to all interlinked alarms is cut before beginning work. The interlink wire can carry a live electric current between alarms if they are powered from different circuits.
