The Auraglow CYRUS outdoor light with PIR motion sensor is a hybrid solar and battery-powered security light that offers an efficient and eco-friendly solution for outdoor lighting. It features a sealed lithium-ion battery which is recharged by a detached solar panel along with the option to provide backups in the form of 3x standard C-size alkaline batteries. The dual LED lights automatically activates at full brightness (600 lumens) when the PIR sensor detects movement during the night. Easily illuminate dark pathways or passageways at night without the need for complicated wiring – no electrician required!

Powered by both solar-recharged lithium-ion battery and 3x standard C-size backup batteries
Solar panel is detached from the light (5m cable) allowing it to be positioned for optimal sunlight

Please Note: The Auraglow CYRUS will work without installing 3x C-size backup batteries, but will not work without the solar panel connected even if the backup batteries are installed.

Worth the money

Have fitted this at a village hall.
Simple to fit - "plug and Play".
5 meters of cable means the panel is in full sun. The cable is a bit thin so put it in a small duct as the site is exposed to coastal wind, salt etc. Will have to wait to see how long it lasts. A standard PIR light only does 2-3 years before failure at this site.
V easy to test and gives good light given its only 2 X 3W lights.
Should add that the first unit supplied did not work and when I contacted the company they were v helpful and efficient.
It was the first unit that had failed they said. The replacement came v quickly 11/10 for customer service.
