The 2ltr water mist P50 fire extinguisher from Britannia is a service-free unit that only requires a simple visual inspection annually throughout its ten year lifespan.
Water Mist extinguishers discharge a curtain of incredibly fine water droplets, creating a mist cloud which surrounds and smothers the flames. This reduces oxygen around the fire, extinguishes the flames, and both cools and dampens the source of the fire to prevent re-ignition.

- Please Note: Whilst this extinguisher has been certified for Class F fires (like others on the market), following our own independent research we do not recommend using water mist on anything above a 5F rated fire (this is equivalent to an average domestic deep fat fryer). For fires above a 5F rating we recommend a wet chemical extinguisher.

Just what I needed as a long life extinguisher
As I have open fires in the house I like to have a good extinguisher at hand just in case a an ember falls on the carpet and needs more than a cup of water on it. This extinguisher is ideal for this.
