If you opt for a battery powered alarm, there's no wiring involved or cables running between rooms, plus there’s no electrician needed. We also offer mains powered versions with radio modules. Each alarm communicates wirelessly using radio frequency signals, so you just fit them and link them up yourself.
Good for families, essential for landlords
In Scotland, interlinked alarms have been a legal requirement in all homes since February 2022. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the law requires smoke alarms on every floor but doesn't specify the type. We believe interlinked is always the safer choice, especially in multi-storey homes.
