Technical Data
The Union RetroV overhead door closer has been designed as a replacement for the Briton 2003 series with no need to drill new holes allowing you to keep your existing door. With a simple to use variable power adjustment with the supplied allen key, and independent latching and closing adjustment valves, the RetroV provides a smooth and precise closing action.
- Features the same fixing dimensions and footprint to popular UK door closer designs including Briton 2003, 2004 and 2003V
- Designed for retro fit but can also be used as a first application door closer
- Suitable for left and right handed opening doors
- CE marked to EN 1154 as adjustable power 3-4
- Capable of holding doors open to 130°
- Suitable for EN power size 3-4 doors
- Adjustable closing speed
- Adjustable latching action
- Suitable for use on doors up to 1100mm and 80kg in weight
- Can be mounted in Fig 1, 61 and 66 positions
- Supplied with template and fixings for all standard applications
- Additional bracket included for parallel arm mounting
- Concealed fixings and adjustment controls
- Square steel cover in silver finish
