Bleed Kits
Bleed kits are designed for use by specially trained first aiders to control severe, life-threatening bleeding. Our bleed kits are supplied with bleed control dressings, pressure bandages and torniquets. The kits are contained in a sturdy, durable plastic case or waterproof carry case with grab handle so they are always ready for use when emergency strikes. Ideal for use in public access venues such as schools, shopping centres, events venues and transport hubs, bleed kits provide instant treatment that could be life-saving before paramedics can attend.
Martyn’s Law which is due to come into force in 2027, introduces requirements for public access venues to provide a bleed control kit containing critical equipment for trauma incidents. There is a tiered model for venues based on the capacity of the premises, event or activity taking place. The legislation will ensure venues are prepared for, and ready to respond in the event of an attack.
