When the Kingpin panic bolt is used in the event of emergency or during a fire drill, the plastic insert breaks allowing the door to release. To reset the Kingpin panic bolt, a new plastic component needs to be fitted by an authorised person. Additional spare components can be purchased singularly or in packs of 10.
