Safe Manual Handling Training - Safelincs

The Safe Manual Handling course has been specifically designed for staff/individuals who are involved in regular lifting or carrying.  The training has been designed to reduce the risk of injury through the promotion of correct manual handling techniques. The course covers the aspects of Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and how to carry out risk assessments before lifting/carrying.

• Training is carried out at your site
• Maximum number of participants - 12
• Understand the legislation involved in manual handling
• How to assess manual handling tasks and how to carry them out safely
• Understand the risks associated with manual handling
• Causes and prevention of accidents and injuries related to manual handling
• How to complete a simple risk assessment
• Practical training session
• 3 hour in-house training
• Upon successful completion, delegates will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years
