Extinguisher Valve Removal and Recharge Bar

When engineers perform an extended service on stored pressure fire extinguishers, the head cap of the extinguisher must be removed so that the inner lining of the extinguisher can be examined. Traditionally a specially designed spanner would be used for this and once the head cap was replaced on the extinguisher another tool would be used to connect to a nitrogen/dry air tank for recharging. These valve removal bars are used to remove the head cap by screwing directly into the hose thread and, once the head cap is replaced, can be connected to the refilling tank with their built in schrader valve.
