Spectrum Healthcare ResQmat

The ResQmat from Spectrum Healthcare is an evacuation rescue mat with built-in padding and pillow for patient comfort when going down stairs and over hard surfaces. Its yellow nylon sheet is wrapped around the patient and secured using three wide velcro straps. The ResQmat features a length adjustment strap so that the evacuation device can be altered according to the height of the patient. This helps to stop the patient from slipping inside the ResQmat when being moved.

Please note: Due to the lifesaving nature of these devices, it is recommended that a separate evacuation sledge is used for drills and training purposes. This will ensure that the sledge used in an emergency has been exposed to minimal wear and tear.
