Smoke detectors need to be tested regularly to ensure that they are in full working order and ready for an emergency. Our smoke detector test and removal kit includes the equipment required for testing detectors out of normal reach as well as for removing units for inspection or replacement. Supplied with a telescopic access pole, the test and removal kits are available in two different working heights and include a handy protective storage bag.

Ensures technicians comply with the Safe Working at Height Regulations 2005
Negates the need for ladders or expensive scaffolding
Two working heights to choose from – 6m or 8.2m
Kit includes:
- Solo 200 universal removal tool
- Solo 330 smoke dispenser
- Solo A10 smoke detector tester spray (150ml canister)
- Solo 610 Protective carry/storage bag
- 4.5m telescopic access pole
- Extension poles – 8.2m working height only
Smoke dispenser is suitable for detectors up to 100mm/4" in diameter
Removal tool creates various size combinations for the majority of detectors
Non-conductive glass fibre access poles
Allows "functional" testing to be carried out
