The Sentry Safe FHW40100 fire and water proof box is designed to help organise your important documents and ensure that they remain safe in the event of a fire or flood. The box is also suitable for protecting digital media such as hard drives, CDs and DVDs, providing 30 minutes fire protection up to 843 °C. The FHW40100 is UL and ETL certified for up to 30 minutes of fire protection.

Can the safe be secured to the wall or floor?

The design of the box prevents it from being anchored to the floor or wall, as this would mean drilling holes through its fireproof and waterproof materials. Doing so would invalidate any fire or water ratings, along with the warranty.

Can the deed box be secured to the wall or floor?

Unfortunately, the box cannot be secured to either floor or wall as this would mean drilling through the box and therefore nullify both the fire and water protection and the warranty.
