Rutland Responder 24 Electromagnetic Door Closer
The Rutland Responder 24 is a versatile electromagnetic door closer designed to improve life safety while providing convenient day-to-day access. Offering both hold-open and swing-free modes, it allows for areas where fire doors need to remain accessible while ensuring automatic closure upon fire alarm activation. The universal fitting design allows installation on left or right-handed doors, push or pull side, reducing stock requirements and simplifying specification.

- Doors up to 1100mm wide and 80kg – EN size 2 - 4
- Installation in Fig 1, 61, and 66 configurations
- Adjustable closing speed and latch action for controlled door closing
- Electromagnetic door closer with hold-open and swing-free functionality
- Suitable for 60-minute timber fire doors
- 24V DC input voltage – the closer should be wired into the fire alarm system by a qualified electrician
- Automatically releases and closes the fire door when connected fire alarms are activated
- Integrated backcheck helps prevent damage caused by forceful opening
- Opening angle up to 150° for improved accessibility
- Fire tested to EN 1634-1 and certified to EN 1154 and EN 1155 standards
