Rebated Drop Down Smoke Seal

When a fire door has a gap of 5mm or greater at the bottom a threshold seal is required to maintain the doors integrity. Our rebated drop down smoke seals are designed to stop smoke from passing under a fire door. When the door is closed the built-in PVC rubber pad drops down to the floor (maximum drop 14mm) and seals the gap, preventing smoke and even sound from passing through.

Please Note: This seal operates via a graduated scissor action, meaning that the seal drops on the hinge side before the lock side. Once installed correctly the entire length of the seal will drop when the door is fully closed.
