Photoluminescent Powder Fire Extinguisher Signs
Fire extinguisher wall signs help users quickly identify which types of fire an extinguisher can and cannot be used on. These powder fire extinguisher signs are manufactured from durable rigid plastic and feature an advanced Ultra Bright photoluminescent finish, providing exceptional visibility in low-light conditions and during power failures.
- Signs specific for powder fire extinguishers
- Ultra Bright photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) finish
- Exceeds Class C performance, staying brighter for longer than P.S.P.A recommendations
- Exceptionally high brightness within the first few minutes
- Conspicuous signs that can be clearly seen and read in total darkness
- Manufactured in the UK from rigid PVC for improved durability
- Compliant with BS ISO 3864 and BS EN ISO 7010
- Improved ageing and weather-resistant material technology
- Suitable for identifying the fire classes a powder extinguisher can and cannot be used on
- Available in two sizes:
- Portrait: 200 x 75mm
- Landscape: 100 x 150mm
- Under BS 5306-8, a sign is recommended to be displayed with each extinguisher
These signs are suitable for areas with a regular source of light, as the light will 'charge’ the signs. The signs will then shine bright should the power supply fail.

Why Choose Ultra Bright?
Ultra Bright photoluminescent technology is designed to provide exceptional visibility when normal lighting fails. Charged by natural or artificial light, Ultra Bright signs emit a powerful afterglow that exceeds Class C P.S.P.A recommendations. This extended visibility gives occupants more time to identify escape routes and emergency equipment quickly during power outages, fire incidents or smoke-filled conditions.
The use of non-toxic, REACH and RoHS-compliant pigments makes it a safe, reliable and cost-effective choice for businesses looking to improve evacuation safety and exceed recognised photoluminescent standards.
