Hochiki ESP Optical Smoke Detector

The ESP Optical Smoke Detector incorporates Hochiki’s newest High Performance Chamber technology which removes the need to use ionisation smoke detectors in the majority of situations. It also allows the sensor threshold level to be increased, thereby improving the signal to noise ratio and reducing susceptibility to false alarms. Featuring variable sensitivity, twin LEDs for 360° viewing, and an easily removable smoke chamber for cleaning, the ESP Optical Smoke Detector is ideal for any Hochiki ESP-compatible addressable fire alarm system.

• Available with a standard mounting base, short-circuit isolator base, or without a base
• Removable High Performance Chamber
• Twin LEDs allow 360 viewing - green when polling, red in alarm
• Unique "baffle" design allows smoke to enter the chamber whilst blocking ambient light
