Germgard Smart Hand Sanitising System
The Germgard is a smart hand sanitising system designed to promote or enforce (when connected to an access control system) good hygiene within restaurants, hospitals, schools, workplaces and other buildings. Supplied with or without a 21.5" LED monitor, the Germgard utilises digital signage to instruct users to sanitise their hands before entering an area. Germgard is visual evidence of a return to work strategy and can be used as a stand-alone system or integrated with electronic door locks, automatic doors and access control systems to prevent entry until hands have been sanitised.

How Does Germgard Work
Germgard uses a Passive Infrared (PIR) Sensor to detect when a person is approaching a door or area. The connected screen will display a message to the user to prompt them to sanitise their hands. The sanitiser dispenser, which connects via Bluetooth and is self-powering (never needs batteries), sends a signal to the Germgard controller once pressed, which triggers a customisable message to appear on the screen to thank the user and allow them to proceed.
Germgard has two inputs allowing integration with access control systems and electronic door locks, automatic door systems, and CCTV to activate PTZ presets, upscale recording or to create alarm notifications. When connected to an access control or automatic door system for example, the door will only unlock or open once the hand sanitiser dispenser has been used.
