Floor Plate for Dorgard Fire Door Retainers

The Dorgard floor plate can be purchased alongside the Dorgard Fire Door Retainer as added protection for flooring and walls. Fitting a floor plate also ensures that the Dorgard plunger grips on floors with a particularly smooth surface. The rubber plunger on the Dorgard can adversely affect carpets over time, particularly if the fire door is pulled by users without the plunger being disengaged. The floor plate is also available with a back stop to prevent doors being open too wide and damaging walls or nearby equipment. When correctly fitted at an angle (not perpendicular to the door leaf when opened) the door should make contact with the back stop with the Dorgard plunger positioned perfectly above the indent.
