The flat starter kit from FireAngel features two smoke alarms, one heat alarm, and one carbon monoxide alarm - all powered by sealed 10-year lithium batteries allowing easy DIY installation and low maintenance. This kit provides a strong minimum level of fire detection for most flats as well as a carbon monoxide alarm to warn occupants about this silent killer which can be given off by faulty fuel-burning appliances. The optical smoke alarm is ideal for installation on landings, bedrooms, living rooms, the heat alarm in kitchens, garages, utility rooms and unconverted loft spaces. The carbon monoxide alarm should be installed in the vicinity of fuel burning appliances such as gas fires, boilers, cookers etc.
