The FireAngel FA6615-R optical smoke alarm is powered by 2 x AA replaceable batteries designed to power the alarm for 5 years, preventing the need for regular replacement. Featuring a quieter self-test mode which is activated via a single press of the test / hush button (10dB lower than the full alarm output) to make weekly testing easy, this alarm allows low battery warnings to be silenced for up to 8 hours with the Sleep Easy function. The FA6615-R can also be used to replace your existing FireAngel ST-622 when it reaches its end of life as both alarms use the same base plate.
