Fire Rated Intumescent Air Transfer Grilles with Faceplates
Designed for installations in fire rated doors, these 60 minute fire resistant air transfer grilles allow air to circulate freely throughout the building under normal conditions. The grilles are manufactured with intumescent material which, under conditions such as being exposed to heat, will swell and provide an effective fire barrier to restrict the passage of hot gases.
- Suitable for use with fire rated doors
- Independently tested for 30 and 60 fire resistance by Bodycote / Warringtonfire
- System is maintenance free and easy to install
- Allows free circulation of air whilst maintaining fire compartmentalisation
- 10 year guaranteed lifespan, if installed in accordance with installation instructions
- Robust construction unaffected by water and will not tear easily
- Activates at approximately 180°C
- Tested to BS 476-22: 1987 - IFCC 1001
- Package consists of:
- 1 x Intumescent fire rated grille
- 2 x Faceplates with fixing screws
- Faceplates come in two powder coated finishes: white or silver

Unfortunately, one of the grilles received was damaged badly dented so unusable however the customer services response was good and quick with no quibble. A replacement grille was dispatched and received by the following day.
