Astroflame thermal fire rated pipe sleeves are fitted around plastic and metal pipes where they pass through fire rated compartment walls to prevent the spread of fire through the aperture. The pipe sleeves also provide thermal, acoustic and vapour insulation. In the case of a fire the sleeve expands to fill any available space between pipe and aperture. On plastic pipes the sleeve will crush and close-off the pipe. Fire pipe sleeves are suitable for plasterboard partitions, mineral fibre batt, solid walls and floors.

perfect fit, easy to trim, helpfull staff when i ordered the items

i was building a 2hr FC stud wall i required fire resistance to steel superstructure quickly and the H&S support info with it,when i asked i was greeted with a "yes sir" and in little time i had the product and H&S info, improving my company's Professional standing while improving my customers health and safety file, the items were slightly more expensive than other suppliers, however the excellent service and customer support more than compensated for it
