Astroflame Intumescent Putty Pads for Internal Electrical Sockets

The intumescent putty pads for internal electrical sockets, from Astroflame, are designed to be easily installed by hand with no specialist tools. The unique plus sign design ensures that the whole of the electrical socket back box is entirely covered to provide intumescent protection with no gaps when installed. The putty is non-setting and contains no solvents, which means it can be easily re-worked and re-used for single and double sized electrical socket back boxes, as well as being environmentally and user friendly. Once installed, the putty provides sound insulation and fire resistance for up to 90 minutes, preventing the passage of smoke, flames, sound, and air.
