Astroflame Intumescent Socket Box Cover
Astroflame intumescent socket box covers are designed to maintain the fire integrity of walls after penetrations are created by the installation of socket and switch boxes. Upon contact with fire the socket box cover expands internally, filling all available space with a highly insulating fire resistant char.
- 120 minute fire rated
- Maintains the fire protection performance of walls
- Pre-formed covers for easy installation
- Switches / sockets can be removed without disturbing the cover
- Self supported – needs no extra screws or fixing for installation
- Tested to BS 476-20
Please Note: The socket box is not included.
