Intumescent Glazing U Channel - Astro U Channel
The intumescent glazing 'U' channel is simple to install and provides 30 minutes of fire protection when used with FD30 fire doors. The elasticated intumescent material grips the glass when installed and in the event of contact with fire it will expand to prevent smoke and flames from passing through any gaps around the glazing. Suitable for 6mm glass up to 600 x 600mm, the 'U' channel is also impervious to water and moisture.
