The ablative spray coating from Astroflame is a water-based, acrylic coating designed for sealing cut (open) edges when working with the Astroflame Fire Resistant Batt. It has been tested in block wall, concrete, masonry, plasterboard partition, composite panel and durasteel wall to prevent the passage of fire, smoke, air and sound between fire rated compartments. Able to provide up to 240 minutes of fire protection, the coating can be applied by brush, spray or pouring.
