Fire Extinguisher Cabinets are used to protect extinguishers from weather and dirt, and to discourage misuse or theft. Many cabinets are fitted with vision panels to allow easy identification of the extinguisher stored inside, and are secured with either clip-lock seals or clamps, anti-tamper seals, or locks where the key is located on the cabinet for easy access. For use outdoors, we have a range of IP rated cabinets to provide additional protection against water ingress. We offer a FREE five year warranty on our full cabinet range.
Fire Extinguisher Covers are designed to protect extinguishers from dust and accidental damage while ensuring that they remain easy to access in an emergency. They offer a cost effective way to protect your extinguishers, but are more suited for use indoors and where there is a reduced risk of accidental damage or misuse.
Firefighting equipment such as fire hoses and reels can be protected from accidental damage and vandalism with a cabinet or cover. A cabinet provides a central point to store your hose reel and equipment, ensuring that it is ready to use when needed. For fitted hose reels, a hose reel cover is a cost-effective approach to protecting your equipment. Fire hose cabinets and fire hose reel covers also give additional protection from dust and debris as well as preventing harmful UV rays from the sun which would damage equipment.
Anti-Theft Alarms provide an additional level of protection as they are designed purely for security purposes. Once installed, these alarms act as a deterrent for misuse and theft, providing a warning sound up to 98dB when activated through the removal of the extinguisher from its stand or when the extinguisher cabinet is opened. There are two types of anti-theft alarms, those that use contact clips and those that use magnetic reed switches, that can be installed on cabinets or attached to extinguishers.
