Designed to provide respiratory and eye protection against toxic gases and fumes produced during a fire, the Dräger Parat C fire escape hood is universally sized and is easily fitted over the wearer's head using a flexible neck seal. The combined gas and particle CO-P2 filter provides a minimum of 15 minutes protection, allowing the user to breathe safely whilst escaping the area. The Dräger Parat C single pack fire escape hood is supplied in a sealed, compact cardboard box.

- Can be worn with glasses, long hair, and beards. Full beards can cause leaks.

- Elasticated collar makes the hood easy to put on and adjust
- The inner mask sits tightly around the mouth and nose and the collar lies closely around the neck
- Comfortable, soft inner mask allows wearer to breathe normally through the nose or mouth

I actually had a real opportunity to use fire escape hood in Dec 2009. I was living in a high rise building in Doha, Qatar when fire broke out. Smoke overwhelm the building. Without Draeger escape hood, I think situation would have turned out differently.
