FD30 Single Fire Door Sets
Our single FD30 fire door sets consist of a 30 minute fire door and a matching 30 minute frame.
They are available with multiple glazing options, real wood veneers and are certified by BWF.

What is included in a fire door set?
A fire door set consists of one or two door leaves and a matching frame to achieve certified fire ratings. Our fire door sets are made to measure, and available in FD30 and FD60 ratings.
Fire Door Ratings
For fire door sets to achieve a certified fire rating, the door, frame, and associated hardware must be tested together to ensure they are fit for purpose. An FD30 fire door and frame will withstand at least 30 minutes of fire, while an FD60 fire door and frame will hold back fire for at least an hour.

Fire Door and Frame Kit Installation
To avoid damage during transport and installation of the fire door set, the frame is supplied in kit form. Any hinges supplied with the set are not pre-assembled, but the hinge recesses are pre-routed.

Made to Measure Fire Doors
In order to be effective, fire doors must be the correct size, and be installed to a high degree of accuracy by a trained professional. Doors which do not fit correctly in their frame may not fully close, or may leave large gaps when shut, allowing flames and smoke to spread more rapidly.
In some buildings, standard sizes of fire doors will not fit correctly, necessitating custom doors to meet installation requirements. Where new doors are required for unusual spaces, or a replacement is required in an older building which has moved over time, bespoke fire doors therefore provide the highest level of fire safety. These doors are particularly useful in older premises where the frame remains intact and fit for purpose, but a new leaf is required to fit the exact measurements of the frame.
