The SMK23RU pattress is suitable for use with the mains powered Kidde Slick and Firex smoke and heat alarms. Through the use of a relay circuit board, the SMK23RU allows the alarm unit to switch other devices on or off. The pattress is particularly suitable for installations where trunking or conduit is going to be used and where the ceiling is concrete.

- Designed for applications where trunking (side entry) or conduit (rear entry) is going to be used

A useful accessory to enable alarm to be linked to household burglar alarm (or other system). The connections are somewhat fiddly and the instructions a little sparse.

ok but could be better Relay works fine and no need for a seperate pattress as there is room for the wiring but terminal cover screws very small and fiddly and the screw receptacle very flimsy. One rounded off straight away then broke. Also the gap for the wires to pass through is tightish even with 1.5sqmm wire.
