Lithium-ion batteries present a number of risks including 'thermal runaway' which can be triggered by a rise in temperature, shock, or a flaw in the manufacturing. This can lead to the battery igniting and generating a fire that can be very difficult to extinguish.

The Phoenix Battery Titan 1280 series of safes are designed to securely store and charge a wide range of lithium-ion batteries, such as tools, mobile technology, and even household rechargeable batteries from AAA to 9V batteries. Featuring an internally fitted smoke sensors, and an external wireless alarm, you will have the earliest warning possible to a potential lithium battery fire.
