Located in rural Lincolnshire, we offer professional fire risks assessments nationwide, carried out by a fully certified fire risk assessor. Our assessors will carry out a thorough fire risk assessment for you, at your premises. With in-depth knowledge of all fire risks, this enables the assessor to identify any hard to spot, or not obvious, fire safety risks within your premises. They will conclude the assessment with a full comprehensive report, and providing you with clear indications where any areas of improvement are required. Ensuring a fire risk assessment is carried out is a legal obligation under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO).
For businesses and organisations who feel they have enough knowledge and are competent to carry out their own fire risk assessment, there is a free downloadable fire risk assessment template available to assist you. Please note that you are accepting full responsibility for the correctness of your fire risk assessment if you are using the forms provided.
Since the introduction of Fire Risk Assessments in 2005 businesses, organisations and landlords have to carry out Fire Risk Assessments. The responsibility for fire safety now lies fully with the 'responsible person', usually the owner of a business or person in charge of an organisation. The government has provided free downloadable guides for different industries and building types. These guides help the responsible person to fulfill their responsibilities and recommend minimum standards in terms of fire safety products installed. Businesses are given a great deal more freedom in deciding their best fire safety provisions but should something go wrong or if the risk assessment is only done superficially, there are heavy fines for the responsible person. Businesses with more complex buildings and processes should consider using an external fire risk assessor.
However, to help you with your fire risk assessments, we have created a fire risk assessment form which can be downloaded for free.
