Kidde Surface Mounting Relay Pattress - SMK23RU
Designed for the Kidde Firex range of mains powered smoke and heat alarms, the SMK23RU surface mounting relay pattress can be used where cable access is via trunking or conduit. With a suitable relay control it can trigger auxillary devices such as door closers and warning lights / strobes.

ok but could be better Relay works fine and no need for a seperate pattress as there is room for the wiring but terminal cover screws very small and fiddly and the screw receptacle very flimsy. One rounded off straight away then broke. Also the gap for the wires to pass through is tightish even with 1.5sqmm wire.

A useful accessory to enable alarm to be linked to household burglar alarm (or other system). The connections are somewhat fiddly and the instructions a little sparse.
