Compact and supplied with a 9V alkaline battery, the Kidde 29HD is a battery powered optical smoke alarm with test and hush buttons. This alarm also features two anti-tamper mechanisms: one designed to prevent the alarm being fitted to the ceiling without a battery and the other to prevent the casual removal of the alarm once fitted. The test and hush buttons make it easy to perform weekly tests to ensure the alarm remains operational.
