Safelincs Ltd, founded in 2001, are the UK’s most progressive and dynamic fire safety company, achieving over £24 million turnover in 2021/22. Our 50+ fire safety related websites reach over 3 million unique customers every year. Our team of BDMs and Account Managers take care of a large network of thousands of B2B clients and many hundreds of wholesale customers. Our engineers carry out installations and maintenance everywhere in the UK.

We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Manager to underpin our continued growth through the development of our supplier base, as well as our product and services range which currently includes over 6,000 products and services.

You will be self-driven with the ability to link complex scenarios to identify commercial risks and opportunities. Working collaboratively with all stakeholders you will develop supplier and commercial strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities

You will need experience in:

• Taking a strategic lead in a complex commercial environment
• Analysing in-depth information and making informed strategic decisions
• Leading teams at a strategic level to deliver business growth
• Management of a clear pricing strategy
• Creating and presenting top level commercial reports

You will be required to:

• Manage the Products Team, supported by the Products Team Leader
• Manage the Purchasing Team, driving cost optimisation
• Be responsible for our commercial development, including pricing strategy, supplier relationships and development of new products and services
• Manage commercial risks, threats and opportunities
• Develop and implement commercial opportunities to accelerate growth and profit
• Monitor the company’s gross profit

You will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance from Alford, Lincolnshire. A relocation package is available to the successful candidate.

Job type: Full time

Wage: £55,000 - £65,000 per year

Company vehicle: We provide a personal-tax-saving Tesla on completion of probation, for business and private use.
