Safelincs are supplying E.ON UK, one of the UK’s largest power companies, with new fire extinguishers for the Grain Power Station in Kent. Safelincs were asked to quote for the supply and commissioning of the extinguishers to replace all of the existing 525 extinguishers on site. All extinguishers are individually numbered to allow clear identification. We also offered the responsible disposal of the old extinguishers. Critical to our success was Safelincs’ ability to meet all of E.ON’s requirements, quoting Safelincs’ own extinguishers with 10 year warranty at unbeatable prices, and to deliver and commission within the required timeline.
This week we have launched the Safelincs single fire extinguisher cabinets. These fantastic new models are not only durable and effective (coming with a 5 year warranty) but they are also very economical.
The bright, high-visibility casing makes the unit obvious in fire situations and the large viewing window and fire extinguisher sign make its function clear to users. The single fire extinguisher cabinet has a water resistant rating to IP54 making it suitable for external use as well as internal. The units are designed to hold 6 or 9 litre fire extinguishers.

|On Thursday 27th August Safelincs launched their very own range of superior fire extinguishers. These extinguishers are great value for money, coming with a 10 year warranty (double that of most other extinguishers).
What separates these extinguishers from the competition?
Well, firstly it is the unique manufacturing process known as “semi-shell construction“, leaving only one visible joining weld on the fire extinguisher as opposed to the usual three. This reduces the risk of corrosion as there are less weld joints, which enables us to offer the fantastic 10 year warranty.
|Each Safelincs fire extinguisher has a strong durable handle and robust steel pin which reduces accidental damage and damage during transportation, this provides peace of mind about the effectiveness of the extinguisher. The Safelincs models are also manufactured with a universal valve design which means that any engineer can service the extinguishers with standard tools.
