The Ei3016 is a quick and easy replacement for the discontinued Ei166 smoke alarm, designed to fit directly onto your existing Ei160 base with no rewiring required. Installation is straightforward in three simple steps, with no need for an electrician; isolate the power, remove the old alarm, and click the new unit into place. The Ei3016 is fully compatible with existing Ei160 series alarms which are already interlinked. With its upgraded optical sensor and built-in long-life backup battery, it offers a simple, reliable upgrade with minimal effort.
