Kitchens are damp, very often hot and quite regularly filled with smoke. Ordinary
smoke detectors in such an environment will cause false alarms. This can be avoided
by using heat detectors. These heat fire detectors will detect high temperatures
or rapid rises in temperature and will alert you of a fire in your kitchen. We
recommend that you interlink your heat alarm with the other alarms in your house.
