The CS/SL slave unit is a general purpose, low cost emergency light suitable for both internal and external environments. Slave units do not have a backup battery fitted, instead they are powered from a central bank of batteries in the event of a power failure. The unit is suitable for incorporation into emergency lighting systems complying with BS 5266-1:2011 and can be fitted with universal legend kits making them suitable for use as an external IP65 exit sign.
