The rigid fall arrest system has been designed specifically for installation on permanent access ladders. This type of system is highly recommended for safeguarding access to structures such as pylons, windmills, mechanical lifts and any building with a fixed ladder installation. The system comprises of a ladder top attachment, a spring tensioning system, a lower ladder attachment, a sliding fall arrester, a customised length of galvanised steel cable anchor line and intermediary attachment(s) when the cable length exeeds 8m.

NOTE: When the cable length exeeds 8m an intermediary attachment is added to the system to ensure the anchor cable is guided correctly. Another intermediary attachment is added at 16m as it is recommended that one is added every 8m for safety reasons. Systems of less than 8m do not require the intermediary attachment.
