230V Optical Smoke Alarm - Kidde Firex 4973
Kidde Firex 4973 and 4985's are mains powered, interconnectable optical smoke alarms. The 4973 has an alkaline battery back-up and the 4985, a rechargeable lithium battery back-up. The units are hard wired and can be interconnected with other units from the series to create all round fire protection within the home.
Please Note: The Kidde Firex 4973 and 4985 are replacements for the Kidde 2239HI and 2239HILLs and can be interconnected, however the new models cannot be used on the same base plates and use different connector blocks.
