Intumescents for Electrical Protection
Intumescent gaskets are applied inside electrical and besa boxes. In the event of a fire the intumescent material expands and fill the electrical or besa box stopping the spread of fire and smoke through the penetration. The gaskets have been tested to BS476 part 22 (1987) and EN1364-1 (1999) and are designed to comply with IEEE regulations.
