Intumescents for Electrical Protection
The Astroflame intumescent socket box inserts and covers are applied inside electrical socket boxes. In the event of a fire the intumescent material expands and fills the electrical box stopping the spread of fire and smoke. These socket boc inserts and covers have been tested to BS476-20 and are designed to comply with IEEE regulations.
