Intumescent Pipe Wraps, Collars and Covers
Intumescent pipe wraps and collars are applied to pipes which run through masonry or concrete walls and floors. In the event of a fire the intumescent material expands and will crush a PVC pipe stopping the spread of fire and smoke through the penetration. The wraps and collars can also be used on steel pipes to achieve a cooling effect.
