Q.I want to use the safe without needing the key every time. When unlocked is the safe still fireproof and can the key then be removed?
A.When the safe is unlocked the key can be removed and providing that the latch is closed it will still be fireproof even when unlocked.
Q.Can the safe be secured to the wall or floor?
A.Unfortunately, the box cannot be secured to either floor or wall since this would mean drilling through the box and therefore nullify the fire and water protection properties and also the warranty.
