Q.How is this safe fitted to the floor?
A.There are holes in the bottom of the fire safe which are closed with plastic plugs. Just remove the plugs, mark the position on the floor, remove the safe, drill holls, fit plugs (provided). Then move fire safe back into place and fit bolts (provided). The bolts provided are designed for use in concrete floors. For other types of floors you need to purchase different screws.
Q.My safe doesn't have a key lock. What happens if the batteries run out for the keypad?
A.The battery compartment is located on the outside of the safe, so can be replaced even when the safe is locked.
